These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Timestamp Camera app ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

1.The App

Timestamp Camera lets you take photos and videos with a customizable date, time, and location stamp overlaid on them, and organize the results into folders on your device. The App is provided as-is, and features may be added, changed, or removed over time.

2.License to Use the App

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on Apple devices you own or control, solely for your own personal, non-commercial use, and subject to Apple's own Usage Rules in the App Store Terms of Service. This license lasts as long as you're using the App in line with these Terms — you're free to end it any time by deleting the App, and we may end it if you seriously violate these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, redistribute, or create derivative works from the App, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits this despite the restriction.

3.Your Content

You own the photos and videos you capture with the App. We don't claim any ownership over them, and — as described in our Privacy Policy — we don't access, upload, or store them anywhere other than on your own device.

You're solely responsible for the content you capture and how you use, share, or distribute it. You agree not to use the App to capture or share content that's unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, or violates someone else's privacy — for example, taking photos of other people without their consent where consent is legally required.

4.Location & Accuracy

The date, time, location, and address stamped onto your photos and videos come from your device's system clock, GPS, and Apple's location services — the same sources your iPhone's own Camera and Maps apps rely on. Under normal conditions (a clear view of the sky and an accurate device clock), you can expect the same accuracy you'd get from those apps.

Like any GPS-based app, accuracy can drop in situations with a weaker signal — for example, deep indoors, in dense urban areas, or with location services restricted. If you're stamping a photo for something where precision really matters, it's worth glancing at the map/coordinates shown before you rely on it.

5.Acceptable Use

• Don't use the App for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that could harm, disable, or impair the App or interfere with anyone else's use of it.
• Don't attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or the systems it connects to.
• Don't use the App to create or distribute content that is illegal, fraudulent, or misleading — for example, fabricating a stamped timestamp to misrepresent when or where a photo was actually taken, for deceptive purposes.

6.Intellectual Property

The App itself — its design, code, graphics, and branding — is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of that ownership to you.

7.Third-Party Services

The App uses Apple frameworks (such as MapKit and Core Location) to render map thumbnails and resolve addresses. Your use of those underlying services is also subject to Apple's own terms and privacy practices, which we don't control.

8.Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including — to the fullest extent permitted by law — any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

9.Limitation of Liability

We work hard to keep the App reliable, but to the fullest extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Since your photos and videos are stored only on your device, we'd recommend saving anything important to your Photos library or backing it up elsewhere, so you're never relying on a single copy.

10.Termination

You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We don't expect to discontinue the App, but if we ever do, we'll try to give you reasonable notice beforehand so you're not caught off guard.

11.Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, most often to reflect new features or legal requirements. We'll always post the revised Terms here with an updated effective date, and for any change we consider material, we'll try to let you know in the App itself. If you keep using the App after a change, we'll take that as acceptance of the updated Terms — though you're always free to stop using the App instead if you'd rather not agree to a change.
