Your Photos Never Leave Your iPhone
Timestamp Camera stamps time, date, and GPS location directly onto your photos and videos — processed entirely on your device, with no account required and nothing uploaded to our servers.
Free. No ads. No in-app purchases. No subscriptions.
What stays on your device
Your coordinates, address, and map thumbnail are stamped directly onto the photo or video at the moment you capture it — not uploaded anywhere first.
- Photos and videos are captured and stamped entirely on-device
- Location is read only while the camera screen is open, the same as Apple's own Camera app
- The map thumbnail and street address are resolved by Apple's on-device MapKit, not our servers
- Your stamp settings, logo, and branding text are stored locally on your iPhone
What we don't do
No account, no ads, and no access to anything beyond what the app needs to do its job.
- No sign-up, login, or email address required to use any feature
- No access to your existing Photos library — the app can only add to it, with your permission
- No access to contacts, messages, calendar, or browsing history
- We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers or data brokers
The one thing we do collect
In the interest of being fully transparent, not everything is zero: the app sends a small amount of diagnostic data — your device model, iOS version, app version, country, language, and which screens you open — to help us find and fix bugs. It's tied to a random identifier generated on your device, not your name, email, or Apple ID, and it never includes your photos, videos, location, or anything you've stamped. You can ask us to delete it or opt out entirely by emailing thexosolutions@gmail.com.
Full details — including exactly which permissions the app requests and why — are in the Privacy Policy.
Frequently asked questions
Does Timestamp Camera require an account or email address?
No. There's no sign-up, login, or account of any kind. Every feature works immediately after you install the app.
Is my location data ever sent to your servers?
No. Your coordinates, address, and map thumbnail are stamped directly onto the photo or video on your device and are never sent to our servers. The only network request involved is Apple's own on-device MapKit resolving a coordinate into a readable address.
Do you collect any data at all?
We collect a small amount of diagnostic data — your device model, iOS version, app version, country, language, and which screens you open — to help us fix bugs. It's tied to a random identifier generated on your device, not your name or Apple ID, and it never includes your photos, videos, or location. We don't sell it or share it with advertisers.
Is the app free, and does it have ads or in-app purchases?
Yes, it's free to download and use, with no ads, no in-app purchases, and no subscriptions.
